My first boss
Larry Koffer, director a-v services, Henry Ford Hosptial, Detroit Michigan

I first met Larry during the summer of 1981 while I was working in the pathology photography department at the Johns Hopkins hospital. I had no idea at the time that Larry would be some day in the near future my next boss in a mere 2+ years. When I was hired to be the coordinator of the student training program, I could never have imagined that this position would serve as my spring board to a career of teaching. My whole life up until this time I had wanted to be a photographer. While at Ford, I developed my earliest teaching methods and materials. It was period of great struggle and challenge however it was Larry's support that opened the door to teaching. Without that chance, I could only guess where I would be today.
